Uruguay Uruguay is a tiny and magical country with only three million people and an area of 175000 Km2. It is located between the giants Argentina and Brazil, and makes a perfect destination for travellers who want to take a breath in their trip or just get a conection between Brazil’s beaches, Buenos Aires or Iguazu Falls.
 
The mágic of the legendary Colonia del Sacramento and its stone's streets, the old pubs and Montevideo´s vib, the sun and the eastern beaches, the therms of northen are some of the many options Uruguay offers to its turist!
Montevideo´s bus terminal (Tres cruces) it’s the start and also end point to most of this destinations inside the country.

Colonia del Sacramento: Antigua colonia del imperio Portugués y segunda ciudad fundada en el país, es el punto de partida natural para el viajero que llega desde Argentina y la parada obligatoria para aquellos que viajan a Buenos Aires vía Ferry. Declarada Patrimonio Histórico de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, esta pequenia ciudad nos propone un viaje al pasado; Desde su Plaza de Toros, la ciudad antigua, con sus faroles, murrallas y calles empedradas mezcladas con modernos restaurantes, museos, puerto de yates, tiendas y gran variedad de alojamientos.

Punta del Este: In summer becomes the southamerican Jet Set’s capital, the peninsula is the limit between the Rio de la Plata and the Atlantic ocean.
With more than 30 km of a wide variety of beaches from Punta Ballena until José Ignacio it’s a must for the traveller wich is visiting the country.
The best place for surf´s lovers, windsurf and also for the ones who preffers just a quite beach where to laid down, have a ten and read a good book.
During the summer, the nightlife is mad, with all kinds of restorants, pubs and dancing places. In the low season it becomes a quiet place, but not less charming to relax and enjoy the nature, it has good accomodation options all over the year..

Rocha: Its lakes, the incredible beaches, the sanddunes (ones of the highest of southamerica), the forest parks (the “Monte de Ombúes” is unique in the world!) and the antiques forts makes Rocha a stop you can´t avoid.
La Paloma, La Pedrera, Barra de Valizas, Cabo Polonio, Punta del Diablo, Parque Santa Teresa, “el Monte de Ombúes”… the list of the places to visit is so long as the time you have to be there. In the summer becomes the seccond big touristic desdtination of the country, in winter you can see whailes, and in the summer you might want to stay for ever. Though its very common to camp, you will find lots of accomodation open during the whole year.
